Employee Safety and Compliance

OSHA requirements are slightly different in each state because 34 states either require or encourage companies to have Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP).   All businesses with employees fall under the rules that OSHA enforces.

In Oregon in the agriculture industry, there are certain inspections and requirements specifically for AG your state may be different:

Nearly all growers, processors, and suppliers are subject to rules for inspections. Here is the AG code version: “Inspections. A competent person or persons must inspect every place of employment at least quarterly. OAR 437-004-0250 (6) (e) has other requirements related to these inspections.”
